We are a full-service independent design studio with a flexible approach, which really allows for our clients to choose and tailor their own level of service with us. We aim to go above and beyond your expectations and provide a level of service that reflects our beautiful handmade furniture – from start to finish we will be with you all the way. Below is an outline of the many services we provide.
DESIGN
It all starts with an idea. Our expert designers love what they do, each project poses new challenges and endless possibilities. Our free design service will start to put those ideas down on paper and to bring your dream space to life. We use a free-flowing 3D CAD package to help you visualise the proposal and explore those ideas. We believe in a client lead approach to design making sure we have understood all your requirements. We do not charge for this initial design service which includes 3D visualisation of the space and a full itemised quote - so it's worth taking advantage of.
INSTALLATION
When it comes to the installation, you’re in safe hands. Cloisters has a dedicated team of installers with a wealth of experience. Generally our installations will be a ‘dry fit’ which only includes carpentry however we also carry out all associated building works for a handful of projects. We also have a team of decorators for our hand painted furniture. Our fitting team predominantly works in and around Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and North London but our furniture has been supplied and fitted all over the UK and parts of Europe.
SUPPLY ONLY
Not every project will be installed by us, we also offer a supply only service. You might already know someone you wish to use – or you might even want to install it yourself. For a smooth and stress-free installation, we have a dedicated team to help with any queries that you or your fitter might have during the process. Our drawings and paperwork are also very detailed making it easy to explain your project to your installer. Offering a supply only service also allows us to distribute our craftsmanship internationally.
ASSOCIATED BUILDING WORKING
As well as complete kitchen and furniture installations we can also undertake any associated building work to the same high standards as our furniture installs. This includes work such as, existing kitchen removal, removal and building of internal walls, laying new floors, fitting new doors and windows, plumbing, electrics, plastering and decorating. Having us do all the associated work will make for a much simpler process whereby we can project manage all the required trades in the right order and at the right time. KITCHEN RENOVATIONS
Our workshop has been making kitchens for nearly 75 years. With so many happy clients we often get asked many years later if we can remodel and renovate their current space. We also offer this service to clients who don’t already have one of our kitchens. So, if you have a kitchen and want to add to, re-configure, re-paint, or perhaps just change the worktops and appliances we are happy to help.
WHOLE HOUSE PROJECTS
Create a home that flows effortlessly from one space to the next with a Cloisters whole house project. If you’re planning a full house renovation, we can provide a whole house project service whereby our beautiful furniture can be designed, built, and fitted throughout your home, seamlessly flowing from room to room.
ARCHITECTURAL PLANNING
As an independent design studio, our practice focuses on bespoke residential design and architecture. We provide a tailored approach to every project, whether it is a kitchen extension, whole-house renovation or new build. Within our planning service, we will consider the distribution of space and light in relation to the site, along with other key aesthetic and design elements. Our initial planning service is complimentary and we are here to help you get exactly what you want out of your space.
INTERIOR DESIGN
We are proud to provide you with a full house interior design service, bringing those important touches to your kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and lounge spaces - yes, we even design at-home bars and games rooms. From artisan paints, designer wallpapers, bespoke flooring, luxury fabrics, unique lighting and more, we are here to help you create your dream home. We have partnered with the very best brands to provide you with the highest quality of interior design solutions, as well as take care of all the sourcing, supplying and fitting of high-quality interiors in your home.
INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS
We’ve been lucky enough to work on some amazing projects overseas. From barn conversions in the south of France to ski chalets in the Swiss alps. Our products and services are available globally so if you have a project not in the UK we can still help.
WORKTOPS, APPLIANCES & FINISHING TOUCHES
No kitchen is complete without worktops, appliances, and those all-important finishing touches. We have a wide range of worktop materials in a huge range of finishes, from both small and big named brands. We have partnered with all the major appliance brands with a wealth of knowledge to help you make an informed choice for your project. We also have many working appliances on display in our showrooms so you can try before you buy. We have everything you will need from bespoke cutlery trays to bar stools, because those final touches and small accessories can really make a kitchen.
